Using Discovery Search

This module covers how to use the NIC Library Discovery Search.

When you have completed this module, you will be able to:
  • define Discovery Search
  • conduct searches within Discovery to find library books, ebooks, DVDs, and online streaming videos
  • identify parts and purpose of a call number
  • distinguish between keywords and subject terms
  • apply Boolean operators to narrow or broaden searches
